Der Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Original Soundtrack erschien am 10. Oktober 2007 in Japan und wurde hauptsächlich von Takeharu Ishimoto komponiert. Einige Titel wurden auch von Kazuhiko Toyama beigesteuert. Einige Titel sind neu abgemischte Versionen von Liedern aus dem Soundtrack zu Final Fantasy VII. Das Titellied zu Crisis Core ist Why von der Sängerin Ayaka. Der Soundtrack wurde auf einer Doppel-CD veröffentlicht und hat eine Spielzeit von über 140 Minuten.
